Champion of the Month: Riley – Commitment Between the Posts

At Champion Her Game, we believe sport is about more than talent.

This month, we’re proud to celebrate Riley.

Riley has been a goalkeeper since she was just 7 years old.

From the very beginning, she found her position and never looked back.

What sets Riley apart isn’t just her ability.

It’s her commitment.

She trains four times a week, constantly working to improve her game and push herself further.

That dedication has already opened doors, earning her a place at Brighton & Hove Albion ETC, where she is now in her second season all while continuing to play for her grassroots team, Roffey Robins U12 Girls.

But what stands out most is her consistency.

Riley has never missed a game for her grassroots team.

Rain or shine, pressure or no pressure she shows up.

She has big ambitions too.

Riley is working towards earning a place in an academy team next season, and has always believed she can follow in the footsteps of her role model Mary Earps.
