1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using https://championhergame.co.uk (CHGConnect is a coaching intelligence app for grassroots girls' sport. Coaches use it to run anonymous team check-ins, track how their squad is feeling across five areas (Enjoyment, Belonging, Development, Voice and Confidence), give player recognition, and manage their squad. Players sign in with a name and PIN (no account or email required) to answer anonymous questions and receive recognition from their coach. The service is accessed via a web browser at app.chgconnect.app — there is no native app download.), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the software-as-a-service platform.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access Champion Her Game's software-as-a-service platform ("Service").
2. Scope of These Terms
These Terms govern your use of the Service and all related content, features, and functionality. They do not apply to third-party services or websites that are linked from the Service. Use of the Service is subject to any additional policies referenced herein, including our Privacy Policy.
3. Who We Are

4. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By creating an account you represent that you meet this age requirement.
Account registration requires accurate and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for: Illegal activity Harassment or hate speech Spam or unsolicited messages Unauthorized access Copyright infringement Spreading malware Impersonation Creating fake accounts Data misuse.
Champion Her Game reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any violation of this section or applicable law.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and software on the Service are owned by or licensed to Champion Her Game and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Champion Her Game does not claim ownership over content that belongs to third parties or your own business.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. CHAMPION HER GAME DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
8. Limitation of Liability
Champion Her Game shall be liable for damages as permitted by applicable law. Certain jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for personal injury or consequential damages; in such cases, this limitation may not apply to you.
9. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. Champion Her Game has no control over and accepts no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of those third parties. We recommend reviewing each third party's policies before use.
10. Your Rights and Data
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Where applicable law grants you rights in relation to your personal data, including the rights of access, erasure, rectification, portability, and objection, you may exercise those rights by submitting a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) to data@championhergame.co.uk. We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and respond within **30 days** as required by law.
11. Changes to the Service and Terms
Champion Her Game may modify or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes by email or through the Service by posting the updated effective date and, where the change is material, a summary of what changed. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with a material change, you may close your account before the change takes effect; this does not affect any statutory right you may have to reject a variation that is unfair or made without adequate notice.
12. Termination
These Terms remain in effect while you use the Service. Champion Her Game may suspend or terminate your access for a breach of these Terms, non-payment, or as reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law. Where we terminate or suspend your access other than for cause, we will provide reasonable advance notice and, on request, help you export your data, mirroring the exit rights you have to close your own account at any time; a unilateral termination right without a comparable exit right for you is not our intent and will not be enforced to your detriment beyond what applicable unfair-contract-terms law permits. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms cease. Sections governing intellectual property, liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution survive termination.
13. Right of Withdrawal (EU/UK Consumers)
If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract for the Service within **14 days** without giving any reason, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). If you are a consumer located in the United Kingdom, you have an equivalent 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day the contract is concluded (or, for goods, the day you or a third party you designate acquires physical possession of the goods). To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw by a clear statement (for example, a letter sent by post or e-mail to data@championhergame.co.uk); a model withdrawal form is available from us on request. We will acknowledge receipt of your withdrawal notice in writing without delay.
If you expressly requested that performance of a digital service begin before the withdrawal period expires and you subsequently withdraw, you may be required to pay for the service supplied up to the point you told us you wished to withdraw. Your statutory right of withdrawal does not affect any other rights you have under applicable law, and this clause applies independently of any separate Refund Policy below.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in England and Wales. You irrevocably consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. If you are a consumer located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, this clause does not deprive you of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident, and you may bring proceedings in your home courts.
15. General Provisions
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Champion Her Game with respect to the Service and supersede all prior agreements, without excluding any liability for pre-contractual misrepresentation that cannot lawfully be excluded. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force. Champion Her Game's failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver.

Annex A. Additional Compliance Provisions
The following provisions are part of these Terms and apply to the extent relevant to your jurisdiction and use of the Service.
Children's Privacy
CHGConnect is designed for use by grassroots sports coaches (adults). Players access the service through a name and PIN set up by their coach — they do not create accounts, provide email addresses, or submit personal data beyond first names and anonymous check-in responses. Anonymous check-in answers are aggregated at team level and are never linked to an individual player. Player Profile responses are visible only to the player's coach. We do not knowingly collect unnecessary personal information from children. If a parent or guardian has concerns about data held in relation to a player, they should contact their coach in the first instance or email data@championhergame.co.uk
Electronic Communications
By creating an account and using CHGConnect, you agree to receive communications from us electronically, including by email and in-product notices. These electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing, in accordance with the Electronic Communications Act 2000.
Sub-Processors and Third-Party Service Providers
We engage third-party providers ("sub-processors") to help operate the Service, including hosting, analytics, payment processing, email delivery, and customer support. A current list is available on request. Sub-processors are bound by written contracts that require them to (i) process personal data only on our documented instructions; (ii) implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures; and (iii) assist us in responding to data-subject requests. Where required, we maintain a data processing agreement (DPA) compliant with Article 28 GDPR / UK GDPR.
Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform its obligations under these Terms (other than payment obligations) where the failure results from causes beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, pandemic, labour disputes, fire, flood, earthquake, power or telecommunications failure, denial-of-service attacks, or failure of third-party services. The affected party will notify the other promptly and resume performance as soon as reasonably practicable.
Severability, Waiver, and Assignment
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will continue in full force. No waiver of any provision is effective unless in writing. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign these Terms (including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets) on notice to you. Headings are for convenience only.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Champion Her Game, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with (i) your access to or use of the Service; (ii) your violation of these Terms or any law; (iii) your User Content; or (iv) your violation of any third-party right. If you are a consumer or small business located in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or Australia, this indemnity is reciprocal: Champion Her Game will likewise defend and indemnify you against third-party claims arising from Champion Her Game's breach of these Terms, infringement of a third party's intellectual property rights in the Service itself, or wilful misconduct, so that this section does not operate as a one-sided obligation on you alone.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority. In the UK, contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
